Rules of the Birchtrailplay trail

Revised 2 November 2026

What you get by reading Birchtrailplay

Birchtrailplay is a free reading site. You can browse every review, guide and comparison without an account, a sign-up form or a payment of any kind. We sell nothing here; the site exists to help readers choose a browser RPG worth their evenings.

By using the site you agree to these house rules. They are short because the arrangement is simple: we write, you read, and you decide what to play.

Scores are our opinion, formed by playing

Every score, ranking and verdict on Birchtrailplay is the editorial judgment of our writers after playing the game on live servers. Other players may reasonably reach different conclusions, and we encourage you to try a game yourself before settling on a view.

Games receive updates, events and rebalances, so details that were accurate when we wrote them can change. If you spot something out of date or simply wrong, write to [email protected] and we will check it and correct the page.

Leaving for a publisher’s site

Each play button opens the game’s official website in a new browser tab. From that point you are dealing with the publisher directly, and its own terms of service and privacy policy govern your account, your play and anything you choose to do there.

We point only to official addresses and check them when we revise a review, but the publishers run their own sites and decide what appears on them.

Who owns what

Game titles, logos and related marks belong to their respective owners and are mentioned here only to identify the games we review. The writing, illustrations, layout and design of Birchtrailplay are our own work.

You are welcome to quote short passages with a link back to the page. Please ask before republishing whole reviews or guides elsewhere.

Riding the site with good manners

Read, share and link as much as you like. We ask only that you do not try to disrupt the site, scrape it in bulk in ways that slow it for others, or pass off our reviews as your own work.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If we change the terms, the revised version appears on this page with a new date at the top.

Questions about these house rules can go to [email protected], the same address we use for everything else.
